FEBRUARY IS HERE

The sun is out and it's going to reach 40 degrees today. That makes me happy. I have a smile on my face just thinking about it. It will not stay this way so I am going to enjoy the moment.

Today I am going to Barnes & Noble with my 2 sister-in-laws. My one sister in law is taking care of her 2 brother-in-laws and it is making her crazy. She didn't sign up to care for them in their old age. It just happened. They have never married and have no other family. In all the years they were single and living in the same town they never bothered being a part of the family. That is why it's very hard on her. Also, their brother, her husband has Alzheimer's and isn't a help for her. She has always been the most in control and origanized person. Their lives have impacted so much on hers. She lost it the other night when she found out a person at the nursing home stole one of their credit cards and charged it to the max. (1000). Thank goodness it wasn't more.
That is just the latest in all she has had to endure since August. We have been trying to help when ever we can and when she will let us. I think she now knows she has to let others do some of the things she has always thought she had to do alone.

This started as just a thank goodness Jan. is over but has turned into a mini soap of extended family. I wish I could do more than I am doing but we are doing all we can right now.

The sky is clear and a blue that only God can make. The ice is glistening like diamonds hanging from the branches of otherwise barren trees. The snow is still pretty because it hasn't started to melt and turn to dirty slush. So all in all it is a grand and wonderful day.
